That’s his 5th or 6th of the season to be fair. I think Eddie will go out on loan in January, maybe he’s being earmarked as third choice striker next season.

I like Welbz, I hope he stayz.

That'll do very nicely, thank you. The type of a
European away performance we've lacked since the days of George Graham and the CWC. One goal, clean sheet, no real worries, won the game, come home. I've missed that and I really am starting to see parallels between Emery and late 80s GG.

Only caught the 2nd half but again liked what I saw.....Guedouzi looking lively, Torreria looking assured coming on and great attacking pass for the goal, Welbeck looking like he's regaining his confidence and a great finish by him as well as having that fantastic header wrongly disallowed (and also agree with Rodders is a great option to have), Holding dealing with crosses into the box well, and Leno looking comfortable (albeit without having much to do).

One thing that impressed me was our game management after we scored. Drawing niggly fouls, good substitutions :rubchin:   , taking a bit longer to get up from challenges, slower throw ins, and having the wily Lichsteiner ruffle some feathers.

It's great to be back enjoying the feeling of watching us this season :barscarf: :barscarf:
