We'd have lost that one last season.

Genuinely don't see the point in Iwobi or Mkhi going forward. The latter on massive wages. Recall Nelson and maybe see if we can get Boufal from Soton in January.

He is a sub for a team in the bottom 3 and you think that he is good enough for us ??

In fairness Augie you wanted Roberto Martinez as our manager once.
And moyes

Anyhoo that was proper shit against the Stoke wannabe's.

Comedy Iwobi has got to be dropped and then released. Forget this "he's still young" shit - he hasn't got as good a touch or footballing brain as your average 10 year old. Fuck, he'd struggle in the women's game ffs.

The Boomerang and Lacazette missed a couple of gilt edged sitters. And the diving was embarrassing tbh. But then the ref was fucking shithouse. Why book our two and not theirs? As for the "offside" goal? Fucking hell awful work from the ref and lino.

More worrying is the fact we literally create next to nothing from midfield without Ozil in there linking the play and opening defences with simple but accurate intelligent passes - the kind that Mickey Tarragon and particularly Comedy Iwobi over hit by 10 yards.... and yet we have idiots hoping he doesn't play.

Great late ball by the Dozer, great take down by the Boomerang, and superb acrobatic finish by Torriera. Beautiful goal and unlike the one by the granny botherer that the meejia pricks wet themselves over, it wasn't a shinner! 8)

We look punch drunk overall and that's understandable given the last couple of huge high intensity games. With injuries and suspensions we are now lighter than hell for the Saints game. Rest everyone and play ONLY the kids against Quarabang or whatever the fuck they are called.

Jim Beglin is a complete cùnt. Always has been. Doesn't even try and hide his anti-Arsenal bias. Another mouser that never got over Anfield 89. Good. Fuck him. Hope he rots in his own rank misery. :censored:

Still convinced there's a good player somewhere in Iwobi.. but even my patience is running thin after watching the weekend game...

yeah it was a good first touch then he did not panic and looked for options once he was closed out.

a normal sized player would have side footed Torriera's goal

I know what you mean every now and then he does something good, but he pisses about way too much.

We should gotand get a winger + a playmaker in the summer, if he don't play Ozil then we need to replace him.

My theory is new managers don't come in and rip up the team straight away, they usually give existing players a chance so Unai is giving Iwobi a chance to prove himself. If Unai came in and dropped him for a youth player right away think of what that would have done to his confidence, it would have effectively ended his Arsenal career without giving him a chance. And let's not forget he had a good start to the season.

The first season or 2 was always gonna be a roller coaster with ups and downs as Unai finds the right balance and team he wants. After 3-4 transfer windows you'll see the squad shaped to his vision. So far I'm enjoying the ride :barscarf:
