Welcome Denis Suarez

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

 it’s hard trying to make big news about fuck all!

I think and hope Suarez will be a good signing. We’ve needed a winger for about 15 years!!! I’m fed up of seeing Strikers and central midfielders playing out there (bentdner :banghead: ) and to top it all Alex ‘Khardashian’ Iwobi....what an arse!

Sorry but couldn't resist a couple of quotes from the main OG site about our new boy which just goes to show how useful stats can be:-

"His dribbling skills are backed up by statistics, as last season he was dispossessed on average 0.9 times per match, less than Ramsey (1), Iwobi (1.7), Mkhitaryan (1.1) and Özil (1). Suarez also completed on average 1.2 dribbles per match last season, more than Ramsey (0.4 per match), Mkhitaryan (0.6), but slightly less than Iwobi who managed 1.5 dribbles."

"Suarez also has chance creation in his locker; over the course of his career averages 1 key pass per game, which admittedly is slightly lower than Iwobi (1.1) or Mkhitarayan (1.7). However during the last campaign Suarez created a lot of chances from out wide. He did this by averaging 0.4 crosses per game, compared to Iwobi’s 0.1 crosses per game on average. However this is still slightly less Mkhitaryan’s 0.5 crosses per match average."

So he's a bit better at dribbling than Ramsey but not Iwobi, also not quite as good as Iwobi with a key pass and not quite as useful at crossing as Mhiki. Don't you just love a good stat

You could be forgiven for thinking he's Ramsey's brother.

Not the kindest debut to chuck him on there when he is clearly off the pace through lack of football and we had thrown the towel in!

You would have to hope he gets much more game time than Iwobi.

What complete assclown mong put that pile of rancid shit together as an article ffs? :censored:

Fucking stats.  :censored:

Interesting fact: did you guys know that Legohead Denilson was the greatest passer of a football in PL History? 98% pass completion rate. Pisses all over Bergkamp and Vieira. Stats rule. 8)

:suicide:

It was quite a "Wenger thing" to do really wasn't it? Bizarre decision tbh. :|
