David Danskin

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Our founder, captain has finally got a resting place befitting
Although I believe it took supporter pressure to get the club involved

I heard that too. The club were doing nothing until some fans embarrassed them into getting involved? A pity. The man deserved better.

Embarrassing to say I didn't know who he was until I read this post, so I've been educated.

A nice thing then but it should have the old Arsenal badge/crest on it if I am being picky .. not the cartoon / cooperative brand one we have now .

that is good news, You cant blame the current mob, where the fuk were the Arsenal board in 1948 when he died

How amazing it must have been for him to see that works team that he created go on to dominate football in the 1930s
