Valencia (A) 09/05 20:00 KO

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If we DO meet Chelsea in the final, and Chelsea win - do we still get a CL spot by default?

I don’t gamble anymore but if I did I would be putting at least £100 on Valencia going through. I think they’ll score 3 or 4.

Yesterday i was buzzing for this but after last night, it all seems pointless, like someone has let the air out. Win and we should be eagerly awaiting the chance to win our 1st European trophy in 25 years - but knowing those *word censored* will be building up to the CL final is beyond gut wrenching. As for our bottle jobs, I think we will lose 2-1 on the night but get through.

Before halftime....but then, with the resolute, determined spirit & resolve ingrained in this formidable side we will roar back in the 2nd half with a Xhaka hat trick (he's proved time & again he's the man for the big occasion) making the last 2 nights of football pale by comparison :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

The dippers have won this many times before so if they win it again ...meh

What we need to salve our wounds........

City win the PL

Dippers win the CL

We win the Europa.

I can live with that.....

THE REALITY

We go out tonight

A spirited, born again Brighton side, full of self belief after their heroics at the Emirates, hold City to a draw, dippers win the PL

Scum win the CL.

Wenger, with no self awareness at all (as usual) pops up EVERYWHERE, explaining how the 2 titles were won & lost.

Cannot wait.

You do know that a Xhaka hat-trick is conceding a penalty, passing to the opposition on the edge of our box, and stop tracking a runner into our penalty area for them to score.
