Preseason Friendly Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Shock, we didn't concede 3 goals last night, and Mustafi was captain. Good to see the youngster getting a good result.

I can actually picture someone calling for VAR when they saw the captain's armband on Mustafalaugh.

Nice performance from the squad against what was a fairly full-strength Bayern side. All the youngsters (Willock particularly) were excellent. Lacazette a little anonymous but that’s ok.

Gnabry got the assist for Lewandowski.

Chambers played well playing further forward, mustafi did not.

i would of thought that if Chambers was going out on loan again, he would of have by now. this is his opportunity to replace ramsay - anyone who has seen the soton footage knows he has pace and can beat DM's. Willock played more o0f a DM role.

Nice win against Bayern. Beating them in pre-season always reminds of the Makita tournament in 1988. We know what the proceeding season. :D :D

Ahh yes, the team that's avoided winning trophies since 1987. Gloating at the time as they signed a fat geordie lad and Paul Stewart. :barscarf: :barscarf:
