Jose Antonio Reyes - RIP

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tragic news

Was a lovely player, so sad to see him taken at such a young age.

Tragic news. Only 35.

He had skill and flair and scored some great goals but it didn't work out quite as well for him with us as many of us had thought it would - partly down to Manchester Mike Reilly's disgraceful refereeing and partly down to Henry's shameful treatment of the lad.

But he will always be an Invincible.

RIP.

I'll echo all of that, but especially the highlighted bit - he could and should have been a star for us, cos he had pace, skill and could finish.

RIP Jose..... Forever A Gooner

Sad news indeed!
His Arsenal career started so well, but I think he lacked the toughness reqd for the plge and his play was predictible.
By the end he was keeping the more talented Pires out if the team, which is why Henry had no time for him.

Absolutely terrible news. What a week this is turning out to be but it does put things in perspective. R.I.P. Jose.

Couldn't settle off the pitch but you could see he was a very talented player rapid and a good striker of the ball.

35 years young is tragic RIP

There's going to be a silence before That Game tonight.

Listen out for the morons booing him because he's a Gooner.

RIP.

Far be it for me to give those morons any credit, but the respect they should for Rocky's minute of silence on the day he died, should be acknowledge and respect given for that

Puts tonight’s game into perspective.
I’m shocked at how young he still was
