I wouldn't quite go that far Sid and you know I defended him throughout last season, but I am very concerned that there is precious little evidence of any defensive improvement a year and three transfer windows after being appointed. Sokratis over committing, David Luiz - a signing to rival Silvestre, midfielders playing at full back.......it just looks absolutely ragged. Spurs look like scoring every time they get into our half.

Would have hoped that the Summer transfer window would have seen us spend big on centre halves and full backs and rely more on the kids in midfield and supporting the main strikers. I like Pepe but we had other areas of the field where 70m+ needed to be spent
