Bloody hell my first ever message I didn't even know how to reply so thank you. I am a bit worried about the Hippo and the Hamster in leather link though.
Possibly being blocked by the Internet provider. Easy to get around when you know how.
How do you get round it ? On my Mac book air I can not get the gooner forum
On the Wi-fi it is so slow the pages won’t load
On my I phone I have to run an add blocker to get it to work
Broadband is BT fibre
First thing to try is to reboot your router. Unplug completely for a couple of minutes to flush the DNS cache.
Something everyone should get in the habit of doing regularly anyway.

What browser are you using? Safari? Try installing an alternative like Chrome to see if you get the same results.
Have tried an ad blocker on safari still the same
Downloaded google chrome takes over two minutes to load a page of the forum
The main website works on both browsers it’s like the BT broadband wifi is blocking the forum ?
Are you using wifi by any chance or is it hardwired with ethernet lead?
Wifi can be affected with interference from other items that use wireless connections (particularly things like cordless landline phones). Can even be affected if your router is close to your neighbours router.

I have BT broadband and unable to use the forum on my IPad. Each page takes ages to load. Been like it for a while.
The newer BT hubs have dual band wifi so something to bear in mind too. You can split the bands so you have two separate connections (2.4ghz and 5 ghz)
2.4 gives better range but a weaker signal, 5ghz gives a stronger signal but shorter range.
