If ever anyone wanted an example of the gulf between the premier league and the championship, then this game is it - they come to us in 6th place in the championship and face a team with NOT ONE first 11 player (Tierney and holding aren't fit yet) and is made up of mostly young players, and we still steamroller them 5-0 8)

Yes the win was important, but it was more important to get some gametime for tierney and holding, and more game time for saka and nelson and smith-rowe (any word on his injury ?), so it was a good night all round
In fairness Ozil, Tierney and Holding are first team players, just haven't been recently for varying reasons, but yes the gap is pretty huge, don't think Martinez had one difficult save to make all night, also we probably have one of the stronger youth line ups out of the PL clubs, only Chavski are probably producing as many youth players.

Excellent team performance tonight. Saka looks like he'll trouble defences a lot in the future. Chambers has become turbo-charged, well done to him. Tierney had a good debut and looks like a good buy.
Even Mustafi had a good game.

Ozil is no longer a first 11 player for us, and I would actually go so far as to say that no big club would come in for him in the morning even if he had a reasonable fee and reasonable wage

Sky Sports News showing the goals on the hour. Didn’t even realise Sky had the rights back, thought it was still that shitty old ‘Quest’ channel or whatever it’s called. Lovely goal by Martinelli.

Yes it was ONLY Forest , and Yes they are in The Championship , but they still had to be beaten , i think all who played done a job , shows what can be achived with players driving the game forward at pace

Plus just take a moment to think about this

The Scum couldnt beat LEAGUE TWO Colchester !

Extremely happy with the win, perhaps we should play that team in the prem lol jokes aside it was a positive performance the youngsters done us proud. it was nice to see several Arsenal players, such as Rob Holding, Kieran Tierney and Hector Bellerin play their first games back after recovering from injuries. When "Saka was brought on for Smith Rowe he showed glimpses of his talent, he clearly has pace to burn and the fact he is a genuine left-footed winger makes him unique asset in this Arsenal squad. Os onwards and upwards. I am hoping he at least makes the bench for the Manure game.
