Wolves H Sat 2nd Nov KO 3pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Emery: "It's a bad result, but tactically it worked how we wanted

Our manager

So it was a 'Bad' game - so tactically he was intending to play for a draw?

:? :? :?

With each week that goes by he sounds more wenger-like in what he says/explains...and in his decisions....but under wenger we did have a recognisable style - even though it was out-moded and no longer worked...but this cunnt is Monkey Poop Nuts.

This so called diamond formation still looks more like a polished turd .
The right players were there to do a job today Emery just didn't play them right the system hes trying doesn't work and wont work if you play it from now until armageddon.
Emery is out of his depth and should leave now !

I despise the diamond formation and always have - it killed us in scouseland and it was fcuk all better today, We have players that can play out wide, so why go with a diamond formation at all ? Automatically it requires changing the formation as soon as you bring a wide man on cos they wont fit into the diamond formation

We’ll struggle Thursday afternoon out in Portugal and then it’s a nailed on defeat next Sunday.

The club then have the international break to try and somehow sort this complete shit show out.

An absolute disaster of a hire, Ivan’s last fucking stand.

Allegri is free at the moment isn't he? If so they should move Heaven & Hell to get him.

Yep . Right now is the move for him or lose him moment. Getting him in not only brings him to us but stops him going elsewhere. We missed out on Pep and I hate to say it, Trampy Shipman, by fucking about with Wankar for too long and now we'll do it again. We should have had him in 18 months ago but we gave the job to the Spanish Joe Royle and unless we act decisively now, we'll end up someone equally average in 18 more months time. Have Emery in for a chat on Monday, tell him that we expected better and start chasing Allegri or Joachim Löw. Maureen is utter desperation stakes but right now, we're back where we were between 2010 and 2018 when it was clear it was over but nobody could pull the trigger. In fact, we're worse off because between if Wankar had been fucked off in 2010 or 2014, we'd have been in the chumps league, rather than fucking about in the Eurototovision depression cup. Fuck me, what is going on?

This what dick said after the game:

(From: Sky Sports)

"Arsenal boss Unai Emery: "The most difficult thing is to score the first goal
but we needed to score the second goal. We created some chances to score the second. We were controlling the match but we knew in one moment they could score. When they scored we started to push but we didn't create big chances. I think we deserved it more than them.

"It is disappointing. The players tried and they worked. They did all we were speaking about before the match. The players are like me. They feel the demand to win and take confidence from victory. So when they draw they are a little bit sad."

I mean WTF is he on about???? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

We've already tried and failed, he wants a club with big ambition not a Thursday night soccer ball franchise like us, and who can blame him?.

F*ck Kroenke and f*ck this club.
