Sky Italy are saying that allegri would prefer not to start his next job until next summer rather than mid-season - saying that he would "prefer" not to join a club until next summer, is not the same as refusing to take a job until next summer

Time to push the boat out to persuade allegri to join us now methinks

That bloke who threw away a 3-1 lead against mighty Braga and spent 150m acheiving what Sean Dyche did spending a fifth

He'd be amazing
Is Sean Dyche your new Diaby mate? :D

Not quite reached that exalted status yet mate......probably just behind Nigel Farage and Alan Partridge in 4th though :D

According to @Goal_en_espanol, intermediaries working on behalf of #Arsenal have made first contact with former Valencia manager Marcelino regarding the manager's job. https://t.co/gh54pGuE73

I think id like to see an English Manager sort out our defence.

As Gary Neville said - Unai was a top quality coach, but many of this defence are uncoachable due to pathetic recruitment....

Id like an English bloke to come in and plunder the lower clubs for rock solid defenders.

Howe seems to be the only realistic English choice. Rodgers would be very disloyal to dump Leicester.

Or look at the top six in the championship and steal one of their managers.

Either way, two CBs have to the main priority in January.

Absolutely the best man for the job. We should break the bank for him.

Doesn't speak English, has no inclination to learn and it and doesn't want to manage outside Spain.

Other than that he'd be perfect 8)
