Is "world class attacker" Duane Dibbley fit for Palace? If he scores we can all enjoy the meejia morons hailing him as the new Thierry Henry for a couple of days - until he does his usual and promptly goes total pigshit for the following 5 or 6 games.

Every game is a test of Arteta's principals and philosophy. The players bought into it but showed signs of lapsing into old habits and comfort zones against Leeds. Arteta's approach demands a massive work rate that was alien to the players for too long.. I suppose it is like any of us adjusting to a new boss and his demands.
If we continue in the Arteta way then we can beat Palace comfortably, but we are not long enough into Arteta's reign to suggest that slips and reverting to type are gone. The players needed the rocket at half time against Leeds to realise that this approach and energy are not for the bigger games only..They are for every minute of every game . If that is the approch at Selhurst then an away win is on the cards. Failure to do so then we revert to type and to a limp defeat.

3-1 to us. 3-0 at HT, but we'll give away a sloppy goal late on.

I'm seriously worried about a lot of comments on here regarding Arteta ,as if each game is a massive hurdle to vault over and if we fail it questions his very existence at the club.
The job he needs to do will take time, and hopefully will involve purging the club of the toxicity that permeates every crevice.

Reckon we'll win 3-1 :barscarf:

Interesting fact for you guys:- Sydenham Hill (the home of Crystal Palace fc) once housed the Crystal Palace from 1854 until it was destroyed by a fire on 30th November 1936 :typing:

Exactly all a bit knee jerk and hysterical...had reservations but 100% behind Arteta

Have to agree. It's been what 4 games under him? No point in looking at every little setback or slip up as a portent of future doom. What he's trying to do will take months - probably a year or two - and there will be banana skins along the way.
