Let's just get to the end of the season. We'll win a few home games, draw a few more away ones, finish probably 7th and we can hopefully get rid of some of the ones who clearly don't care.

The biggest problem we have is our midfield is completely devoid of creativity. Not a single player can receive the ball from the back, turn and drive forward before feeding the strikers. Our midfield is a fucking morgue.

Sir Flicks A Lot For all his faults was that player. The bug eyed bottle job is supposed to provide that in the current set up but he’s a total waste of fucking space. Anonymous again today as usual.

Then you’ve got Guendouzi who destroys every build up his involved in or Xhaka and Torreira who haven’t a creative bone in their bodies.

Martinelli can certainly finish but I’m not sure he’s gonna thrive playing out wide and shoe horning one of Europe’s most lethal finishers on the opposite wing to accommodate Lac-of-Goals is a fucking head banging decision.

So all in all the entire middle of our team is a mess and our inability to create a decent number of chances every game is testament to that.

Priority number one in the summer has to be binning off the bug eyed bottle job to Turkey or China or whoever the fuck is daft enough to take him and get in someone who can create.

7th!?!? I seriously doubt that. In fact I doubt we'll win a few home games :? :?

not a good performance, that was painful in the second half.

we started off well in the first 20 minutes and could have scored a couple of goals but as the game progressed it got worse. in the second half we couldn't get anything decent going but then again, what do you expect from a team with deficiencies all over. i mean in the second half we had our fourth choice left back playing, so for the people wondering why we signed cedric- there's your answer.

ozil was poor and hopefully arteta is at a stage where he's thinking about pulling him. every new manager that comes in gives ozil a chance and thinks they can be the one to resurrect his career but he's been on the slide for a few years now. time to play willock til the end of the season and see what he can do.

lacazette has been so poor and we're putting our best striker out wide to accommodate him. really not a fan of that as it makes the team unbalanced and it doesn't seem to click. he's starting to be a real problem and im not sure what we can do with him tbh.... on one hand he won player of the year last season and is a talented player going through a rough patch, but even when he's doing well he's poor away from home. the fact auba will be leaving in the summer is making this hugely problematic as we can't sell both in one summer so it's gonna be a conundrum for arteta.

nketiah should have come on sooner, mikel was too slow to make changes but he's learning on the job so it comes with the territory.

if there's any positives to take then it's the fact that we came away with a point when we would have 100% lost that under wenger or emery. burnley are a good, resilient team and have beaten utd and leicester this season so it's not an easy team to face. hopefully the players come back refreshed after the break, we have players coming back and a relatively easy run of fixtures.

Not the best game under arteta. Thought we had the best opportunities to score with both lacazette and auba over complicating the finishing.
It took 4 minutes to get eddie on which is why the substitution was made in the 88th minute.
Thought we had the better of them and would have won at a canter had our forwards took advantage of their opportunities. Think that is the first time ozil has been played at Burnley?
Good that we kept another clean sheet away from home. Progress is slow and maybe the thought of a winter break was pre-occupying the players minds. Really needed a win from today.
Everton under ancellotti have made significantly more progress than the we have under arteta and that is a fact given our respective league positions when both managers took over. We've remained in 10th whilst everton have gone from 17th to 8th, pulling back a 7 point deficit. You get what you pay for and seemingly we Arsenal supporters have to be more patient.

we've had the rub of the green against them a few times. today we had zilch and to be honest 0-0 was a fair result.

Point away from home whilst Villa and Watford lose and Norwich, West Ham and Brighton all drop points.

Great weekend for us in our ongoing fight for survival,

Didn’t watch it but can I go out on a limb and guess:

- Lacazette two yards off the pace and looking like he has all of the confidence of a bruised peach
- Two predatory goalscorers marooned on the wing look like two predatory goal scorers marooned on the wing
- Ozil completely anonymous

Either you find a way to play two up front, or you drop Lacazette because he has been fucking useless for months on end now. Ceballos cannot be as bad as Ozil and Willock surely?

This game had 0-0 or 1-0 written all over it from the start. Quite why Sky chose to show it I have no idea. They got the shite-fest they deserve from two dreadfully mediocre sides. Both of which are going nowhere fast.
