Toffees (H) 23/02 @ 16:30
Re: Toffees (H) 23/02 @ 16:30
I was on the road sunday so didn't get to see the game live and only seen the motd highlights yesterday - if ever there was a game that summed up the modern day AFC then this was it. Dangerous going forward, suspect defensively, error prone and a total lack of composure when the pressure was on - all that being said, it was a good 3pts albeit against an everton team whose recent climb up the table should be viewed as a weakness in the league rather than any big improvements on their behalf.
1. How the fcuk did var not cancel their opener ?? As a constant opponent of var I am not surprised that the high boot was ignored, but it is getting harder and harder to work out what exactly var is bringing to the party
2. I'm shocked that only one poster on here mentioned kolasniac's "contribution" to their opening goal He ran back 5 yards deeper than the rest of his team, and then tried to run back out AFTER he played them onside - he looked like a remote control car whose steering was fcuked
3. Some of you talk about how tired our players were after the thursday night game, but only FOUR outfield players started both games - sometimes fans mistake slopyness for tiredness
4. On motd garth crooks (d.ickhead) highlighted the fans giving xhaka stick for going backwards with his passes .......... was that the general sentiment in the crowd ?
5. I still cannot for the life of me understand why the fcuk arteta isnt starting torreira It is beyond disgraceful imo

Apparently Torreira had been ill all week, is why he didn't travel to Greece and when he came on as a sub Sunday he wasn't particularly good.

My brother was giving out shit about their second one too but I think the ball was there to be won on that one. Their first goal was deffo a high dangerous boot. I'm all for keeping volleys and bicycle kicks in the game but if you are that close to someone's head in a crowded box then it's a dangerous high boot all day long.
Fuck VAR.

The zip thing, its an age thing. I've bought a new coat and found myself doing a wenger with the zip. It was a horrifying moment. I had to go for a lie down.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 10:34 pmHe also knows how to do up a feckin' Zip!!!GoonerMuzz wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 1:32 pmI reckon Arteta was more animated in that 6 min clip than Wenger was in his last 6 yearsOneBardGooner wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 12:09 pmBench Cam from the toffees game

My mum used to help out as a dinner lady in my junior school. One of the duties (outside of tying up piss soaked shoelaces that were undone and had dragged along the wet floor in the boys toilets) was to help with stuck zips.
I reminded her of this level of training and experience she had when she fixed my coat zip a few weeks ago after I had decided to bin it. I am 46

I discovered at a young age that pretending not to be able to do things often results in someone else doing it for you

It used to be my ex that did that - We'd split up before I'd sussed it. Lazy Cow!
