BYE BYE HLEB....

Post by Seanyboi »

Arsenal's Alexander Hleb has been banded for three-games after he admitted an FA charge of violent conduct.

Television replays showed Hleb striking Reading defender Graeme Murty during last weekend's 2-0 win over Reading at Emirates Stadium.

Referee Peter Walton did not include the incident in his initial match report as he did not see it, but having video evidence he admitted he would have red-carded the Arsenal midfielder.

As such the FA charged Hleb - and he has now admitted the charge rather than appealing.

Hleb's season is now over as he misses Arsenal's three remaining matches against Derby, Everton and Sunderland.

Most overated player in the Prem

No end product.

Never seen a ball stick to a player like it does Hleb, but he chooses the wrong option time after time after time.

If we can draw our money back we paid for him snap it up.

Mind you, did i read somewhere he can buy his contract out now if he wants?

As I said on another thread, 11 goals and 14 assists from an attacking midfielder (who is sometimes played as a second striker) in three years (130 appearances) just isn't good enough. If we can get our money back from him, we should. In less games, we got more out of Reyes (in terms of goals and assists) and he got all kinds of stick.

I thought Hleb could leave on the cheap by buying out his contract?

Think he has played his last game for the club. Hope not, but think he has.
