John Terry

He has won his appeal against his red card and is ok to play against Manure.

This game will bring back many happy memories of the day he tried out his new non slip boot

How can he have won the appeal?

The ref said it was for serious foul play and as it was an obvious foul that was indisputable they had fuck all case!

Cheating bastards!

If the FA (initials for Ferguson Alex) accepted the appeal, then it must have not been a red card.

I know what you are saying donaldo but that is not the point.

The point is he was sent off for an offence. That offence was serious foul play and the ref has not included the recommend a downgrade to a yellow in his report.

Fucking joke. There can't be many players more cynical than Terry, yet one little whinge and he gets what he wants.

I'd like to know how he has got away with it but to be fair it wasnt a sending off. As long as EVERYONE is treated equally in similar situations i wont complain

DONALDO

applying your reasoning would mean effectively every player is entitled to to do one rugby tackle per game without being sent off.

Terry rugby tackled the bloke preventing a possible two v one goalscoring chance - it was cynical and calculated and a blatant act of cheating-its irrelevant nobody could be hurt by such a tackle.

you are endorsing,as indeed is the F.A. the kind of conduct that rightly we all condemn eboue for.

The reality is that terry is england captain and different rules apply. its corruption entirely consistent with the latest conspiracy theory yet to be announced.

If you hate him or like him you have to say, that it was right decision with it being over turned, he wasnt the last man. We would be up in arms if an arsenal player got sent off for the exact thing, with him not being the last man (only difference is he wouldnt win the appeal because its arsenal)

It was as blatant a red card as I have seen.

Not the type of foul that can end a player's career, but a blatant foul utilising a tackling method associated with Rugby Football, not Association Football!
