Take Away Food

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

What type of take away do you use apart from a fish and chip shop

Take Away Food

Post by Eddie McHelderick »

Hello all,

I got a nice few quid tucked away and as we know it is a buyers market at the moment. So I fancy snapping up a nice little earner in the industry I know, take away and fast food.

What I wanna know is what is your favourite fast food and what types do you use the most? I already have a chippy but the cost of fish is making it harder to turnover the vast profits I used to.

I aint included curry as cant stand that muck and have got no idea what it is all about.

I have included a chinky as I know one up for grabs

So let me know what you use apart from a chippy and I will see if my prediction wins.

Cheers

Eddie

Wouldn't get the Chinese... the ones which make money are either really good or have a buffet with 100s of people coming and going... and assuming you're not Chinese, you might find it a struggle...

There's hardly any Mexican restaurants in London!

Hardly any mexicans, but there's hardly any Thais either and it's full of Thai restaurants in London!!

If you want something a bit closer to home... cornish pasty shop!?

You are joking!

There are Thai people everywhere! Well Thai, Korean or whatever, I cant tell.

Now Cornish pasties are nice but I think there is more of a market for a jerk chicken pasty in London, and frankly they just sound wrong!

Nah that sounds like shit!

How many people want a bacon sarnie with cabbage in it? Fried egg fair enough but cabbage?

Anything but the crap you serve in that dingy shithole you call a chip shop will be a marked improvement.

Oh yes...I've been there

Anyhow I don't serve faggots!

That is the chopped mince variety before someone gets upset!

Is baked onion considered to be irish cuisine? Only asking as the canteen at work had it on the menu on St Pats and insisted it was. One of the guys had it and deeply regretted it afterwards.....

Why isn't Indian food on your poll, Eddie??

Still bitter perhaps that it has taken over Fsh and Chips as Britain's most popular take away?? :?
