the top gaffs in town. ledbury- notting hill, aubergine - off fulham road, smith of smithfelds - smithfields market, sofro - clerkenwell

quick bites , tapas resturant - borough market, fino W1

katies chicken house - on the way back from a bender

Can I add...Yard for pasta and pizza on old street, yummily al dente and cheap too £50 for meal for 2 with wine

Galvins at the top of the Hilton on Park Lane.

Even if you don't like the food (unlikely) the view is spectacular. When you are in the bar you can see the Emirates to the north :barscarf: and rather less appealingly Stamford Bridge to the south west.

It IS worth a trip for the view alone. Even if you just have one drink and make it last :D

I never realised how much of a London landmark we have become - in the architectural sense - until I saw us away in the distance. 8)

MacDonalds, Staines High Street, the cheeseburger hapy meals are great value and you get a toy.................to keep 8)

When I flew back from Paris Champs League final, the plane had to circle London a few times at a low level.

The new stadium and Highbury really stood out...made me feel so proud!

I know those 2 well mate, good call!

Also the Italian in Hoddesdon, a couple of doors down from Taste of China, is quality and really good value
