THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Took my better half down to London to see the Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly theatre for her birthday treat (she got part two later that night  )

Story of Frankie Valli (Y) and the four seasons.

Was very enjoyable and didn't realise that I knew quite so many of their songs, without knowing they were by them.

Followed by a very overpriced meal at Jamie Olivers Italian (desert was pukka though) raspberry with honeycomb pavlova

Kurt Vile’s ‘Pretty Pimpin’.

There’s a repetitious, bluegrass-style guitar that just won’t let go. I don’t know much about him but I cannot hear enough of this tune right now.

Off to see the Bootleg Beatles on Friday at Cambridge.
Have heard good things about them and the John Lennon looky-likey in particular.
