THE NORTHBANKBREN TV SHOW THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

I love American tv 8)

All shite except Modern Family. Americans... peh. :-P

Seinfeld was telegraphed humour aimed at retards of the lowest order. "Oh look I'm Jewish, I'm funny - here comes the joke! Here's the joke!" Awful, awful bollocks.

Actually, the Office was ok - but not a patch on the Engerlish original.

You obviously don't like good tv :-P
I dunno Gusher, he likes Brazilian Gooner... :? :?

Best American comedies for me were Cheers and Frazier.
all the afore mentioned are fucking dreadful.

I forgot to add Cheers.

You wouldn't know good entertainment if it hit you in the face! You're the sad man that goes to a gardening forum!!!  :-P

Cheers was quality and Frasier is the best ever spin off series.

Still can't beat a few episodes of Alan Partridge to cheer you up and My Name Is Earl is a fantastic programme based on a simple idea.

Treme is great. Quite slow moving to begin with, a bit like The Wire but stick with it.

My favourite show on (US) TV at the moment is Breaking Bad. Season 3 has just finished & seriously, its unbelievable how good this show is, especially the second & third series. Check it out if you're after something new to watch....
