Godfrey Bloom.
The most amusing politician ever.
He is colourful, to say the least, and has upset many with his wickedly funny opinions.
But he got it spot on when he criticised foreign aid to African "Bongo Bongo Land" countries (the guy is NOT racist). And told the truth about our cash going into corrupt pockets rather than going to the people who need our help. We all know that this a fact of life.

The democracy protester who nailed his scrotum to the cobbles in Red Square. I'm not sure exactly what his views are, but you've got to applaud his commitment.

Good friend of mine Mark Sampson getting the England ladies job. A very progressive coach with bags of ambition and a top bloke. Won't make me change my opinion on women's football but will definitely look out for their results and keep my fingers crossed for him, wish him every success.

Well Done Cardiff Blues - All for a very Good Cause:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-25564963
"More than 30 players and staff at the Cardiff Blues raised over £12,500 with a sponsored headshave for Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
They were raising money and awareness for the hospital where club captain Matthew Rees is having medical treatment.
The 32-year-old is having "extensive treatment" for testicular cancer, it was confirmed in November."

Great cause. Have bumped into Matthew Rees at the gym a few times in the past where I was actually out-lifting him (albeit due to him being in the early stages of recovering from a serious neck injury )OneBardGooner wrote:Well Done Cardiff Blues - All for a very Good Cause:

Came across as a very shy and polite individual, especially for such a big beast of a man! I certainly don't buy the idea that rugby players are all upstanding gents and footballers are all pampered primadonnas, but having encountered Cardiff and Wales rugby and football teams a fair bit I have to say the footballers showed themselves up. Every time.
