Now that im working in a bookies, I can tell ya, your better off betting on horses, after the festival is over. The whole festival..best horses and all that malarky, makes it less predictable and profitbale...id suggest avoiding events such as cheltenham and the grand national, if you actually want to win good money.
Gold Cup???- Kauto for me

Re: Cheltenham Festival
Hope some of you guys got on those 2 horses I posted yesterday. I will hopefully have another one during the week.
Got to agree with Bren above but that won't stop me backing a few this week. I've Sprinter Sacre, Hurricane Fly and Quevega trebled today. Tally Em Up has an each way chance in the cross country at 25/1 too. Happy punting Gooners

I did it last night on Paddy Power. At the time it worked out at a little over 4/1. Not sure if it's longer or shorter today

Re: Cheltenham Festival
How do you know that the horse that you have bet on really is the horse that you have bet on? They all look the same and could easily be swapped for another horse which might not be as good at running races. All too dodgy and open to corruption for me.

Although my aim is to learn arabic and get into park lane site. Tips can be more than the annual wage. I'll then get my name badge changed to Tarquin Butcher (High Flyer)
