LAY OF THE DAY - BET OF THE DAY

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Ok paddy power paying out on 1st 5 horses so I wasn't sure if it was 1/5 or 1/4,so by my maths should be between €26-€35

I think that Paddy went 1/4 odds, they're generally good for that mac.

Anyway, a win is better than a poke in the eye with a wet stick.

Well done.

Yeah, good luck to the lad.

He took a kick from another horse between the shoulders and near the neck. He was conscious on the way to hospital. In a stable condition and loaded with strong pain killers.

Happy St. Georges Day Gooners :barscarf:

Now, I noticed that there is a horse running in Yarmouth this evening at 7.25 called Patriotic. Currently best price 3/1 with Stan James but it doesn't look like that is going to last, it was 4/1 earlier.

Fill yer boots!!

How ironic that with yet again no St George's Day celebrations, Patriotic was a non-runner!

Godolphin have been in decline for many of years, they use to take there horses to dubai in the winter and virtually won all the big races in Britain, because there horses had the sun on there backs in the winter....But they have been shite for a while and use to go out and buy up all the best 2 year olds

Ballydoyle is now the King, I hope Camelot reappears this season and becomes superstar to replace Frankel

I never understand how bookies, say they have had a bad day or a bad meeting, because all there books are over round from 3% to 10%. Any punter with half a brain, knows they make a profit on each race, also the cheeky on course wankers are using the betting exchanges as well.

Horse Racing really is a mugs game,
