[quote="MutleyGooner"]The only thing worse than watching golf is hearing people talk about watching golf.[/quo

GET IN POULTER! The bloke may spout shit for most of the year but ends the round with 5 birdies: the pressure on tricky putts on the last 3 holes was immense. He absolutely thrives on pressure and certainly delivers in the Ryder Cup. Nice to see him so genuinely motivated and pumped when most of the people around politely clap etc. All the better that he's a Gooner, showed the world no.1 how to do it.

Europe still going to lose overall, lucky to be within 4 and traditionally poorer at singles and I reckon USA might take 18 points overall. But seeing Poults win all 3 points so far (especially like that this evening) was immense, so much time for the bloke.

Absolutely brilliant. Whatever happens watching Poulter this weekend and tonight in particular has been brilliantly, the passion and nerve of the guy is unmatched. Fuck the commentators jizzing over Woods because he plays a few great holes a round, Poults is what it's all about: grinding it out when you're not playing well and then capitalising and holding your nerve when your team needs you most. 3 points from 3.

One sour note was some of the morons in the American crowd, like the one that shouted "Fuck you Seve". You begrudgingly accept that kind of idiocy amongst football crowds but at a golf tournament? Blimey. Just like many United fans of recent weeks seems some think that to show what a passionate fan are you have to act like a *word censored* and say vile things.

Ian Poulter is absolute quality, an Arsenal fan also, we could do with a few like him around our club at the moment as there's no one on the Arsenal staff that can get anywhere near his passion and will to win.

Sky Sports has been off since around 2.30 pm yesterday and will be staying off until 7.45 Wednesday

Fuck the golf and every other sport. I still don't even know any of yesterday's scores apart from City winning 2-1 and those *word censored* beating the Mancs

Rose was incredible on 16, 17 and 18. Balls of steel. Same goes for Poulter, he is just a superb match play golfer. It would be heart breaking if they just miss out on this. It's gonna go down to the wire. Mollenari Woods maybe?
