I don't do squirming Flush ,ever !
Now since thou art the font of all knowledge ,what's your take on Olly Robbins ?.
Mays chief negotiator who failed to get anything we wanted from Brussels but spent a lot of time and money in Bars over there telling everyone with ears what was going on gets a knighthood .
His only success was to bring home the Treaty Brussels prepared for us ,DHL would have been a lot cheaper, there was no negotiation .
More than that he's now taking up a lucrative job at Goldman Sachs who no doubt appreciate his skills in drinking !
Treble gin and tonics all-round ,boys played a blinder !
Smells Doesn't it ?
Herd, if you sent Margaret Thatcher to Brussels she wouldn't have got a deal that would have been anything like acceptable. It was written on the cards as soon as we voted to leave the EU, they were going to play hardball.

Olly Robbins has gone to a big bank, so what? That's what politicians and senior civil servants do. It's a totally different discussion having a pop at the establishment to leaving the EU. Don't forget the establishment figures on the Brexit side of the debate. Rees Mogg the ultimate hypocrite setting up a Dublin Office to deal with Brexit complexities, Boris Johnson who chose Brexit as a career-enhancing opportunity and Nigel Farage the commodities dealer who claims to represent the people.

You can pick an individual out to suit your/any side of the argument and make a case for them being a charlatan.
On Your first point I fully realise that Brussels were going to play hard ball which is why you plan and prepare for a no deal ,which we didn't...…... deliberately too ,we've been over this ad infinitum so no discussion there .

The Second point is what I was trying to draw a response from you, and you haven't disappointed .
Olly has gone to a big Bank ,and you are right it is what Politicians do, but although it is normal ,it's still corrupt and it's still wrong .
Goldman Sachs along with the rest of the financial industry have spent Billions on stopping Brexit by any means possible or making sure we were tied by its regulations ,and of course Olly has played his part in making sure we didn't leave ,his rewarding Job at Sachs is based on his sterling work in keeping us in Europe which of course what he and his boss Theresa May set out to do in the first place.

There has never been any intention by this government to Leave Europe so the BRINO May Treaty which keeps us tied forever to the EU or Stay in are the only options on the table and always have been ive long said I'd rather stay in than the May Treaty .

Boris is a freak side show ,he doesn't care a hoot about Brexit ,he is just electioneering ,he will say he tried and hope he wins some votes .

What We are left with is all the three Political Parties who ALL will do exactly as Brussels wanted ,not what people voted for and we will have wasted all these years in between !

And the result is that we will become poorer as we pour money down the EU drain , we will have unlimited immigration, and ultimately no say in how the country is run ,we will be part of a federalist nightmare of Orwellian proportions !

But of course we didn't , what we voted for and what we are getting bears no relationship to each other. The leaflet clearly stated no single market and no customs union , if opposition parties I.E Labour insist on these then it's not Brexit.

but of course he will get away with it because he is going to deliver what the people want

surely the decision today should wake a few more people up but it probably won't.
