The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Probably only topped by the 63 million quid Madrid spunked away on James Rodriguez after a few good games at the last WC.

I think this summer's big swindle will be if someone is daft enough to piss away the reported £40m that it seems would be enough to prise the dogshit John Stones away from Everton. The most overrated player in the league and that's saying something!
They're calling the new stand after Sterling as his fee, funded the redevelopment.
It is a monstrous rebuild and looks so out of place for the area. It can be seen from some 7 miles away in certain places.

The roofing is costing an absolute fortune - They have to keep replacing the lead. :D

Do you get the feeling the Arsenal is no longer a big deal from players abroad?

The agent of Dortmund ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan has revealed his client wants to join Manchester United not Arsenal this summer.

If the story has been Spurs or Southampton or whatever then fine but like it or not United are a considerably bigger club than us and have been for some time.

yes suppose when you think about it, hardly surprising what would 23/24 year old foreign players know about Arsenal....

ah yes they are the team that gets thrashed in last 16 of CL every year, and has not won a Premiership title in recent memory

Still we always have Wallcott and Giroud they won't leave :rubchin:

If reports are accurate, and Lewandowski wants to move to the PL, then get rid of Wally and Giroud,,,,,,,,
Offer £70m to buy and a £200k p/w contract.

If we're serious, but we ain't.

the comical Arsenal transfer dealings continue in the same vein.....

Leicester vice-chairman Srivaddhanaprabha is convinced the England striker has already made up his mind about Arsenal’s offer.

“You will see the news very soon,” Srivaddhanaprabha told the Daily Mail. “But I think he will stay.
