12 groups and 48 teams, 16more than the CL. What a farce. Probably the most pointless competition in world football after the Scottish PL.
But as we'll be out of it in the league and probably around 6th or 7th this is our meal ticket back in to the "be all and end all" next season where we can go toe to toe again with Europe's elite and get beaten 5-1 every time.

Yes I am well up for the Eurovision err Europa car cup.

If the CL trophy is referred to as "big ears", then what is the Europa league trophy known as? I'm here to get the big questions answered :)

5 of our 6 PL games after Europa League matches are away. A few more 6-0 hammerings on the way this season.

20:05, kick off?

What's the delay in five mins for? To ensure people have stopped laughing before the start of the game?

Genuinely more interested in watching us in the Europa league this season than in the Premier league.

Why do people act like Europa is beneath Arsenal? We’ve won a single third rate uefa trophy in 70 years of European football. Winning it would be a great achievement, the best thing that has happened in well over a decade…but no, let’s focus on scraping 4th so we can be humiliated in the CL again…
The difference between Spurs & Arsenal is that Spurs fans know they’re a banter club, Arsenal fans are utterly deluded and think they’re among the European elite. Reality check, we have a less prestigious European history than the pot 4 team in our group.

Yeah think I will give them a miss.
I know the prices are cheap but I really can't be bothered turning up for them.
The club would probably have to pay me to attend

BATE Borisov? Is that how far east we're going? No Astana or Qarabağ? Gutted.

Looks like a budget CL group anyway. That said, I'd rather watch us in this than the meaningless PL any day. Typically enough, The Old Fraud will treat this trophy with the same disdain as he does the League Cup and put all efforts to win the VT again to qualify for a competition we will never win under him.

Yes, I have to agree our European record is a comparative joke. TOF never added to our European pots though in 21 years of European failures and counting.

Not quite. Half of those six are against clubs that are also in Europe. Burnley away and Brighton home are wins. Soton away is nailed on loss though.

Fair dues to the club for keeping the prices for tickets so low. Hopefully it allows a load of young kids to attend and some old school that might have been priced out to come back as well.

Be careful if you're thinking of going out there as their firm can be a bit brut-al
