Fair enough mate. As I said, I have no problem with people not going, very understandable at the moment. I just get the hump with coming on here and people calling everyone who goes a mug. There's still decent people that go and we all feel the pain of the shit we are suffering at the moment. No need to be slagged off by fellow gooners as well.Redarmy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 3:25 pmYeah all fair points, as i say i don't go to the Emirates just don't like the experience, (and the regime) sitting with a load of tossers getting herded by the old bill after the game.....but fair play to those who do, each to their own and not sure why people feel they can dictate to otherssilus wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:14 amOr....if people hadn't given up going protests could have happened in the ground. Personally I will continue to go to matches because I love going...even though it's shit at the moment, and I understand the argument about giving them my money, why should I stop doing something I've loved my entire life?Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 6:21 amIf people had stopped going and stopped renewing their season tickets all this could have been prevented a few years ago.
I do get pissed off with people on here who have stopped going, acting like some sort of martyrs and taking the moral high ground because they don't go anymore. I dont slag people off who have given up, it's your choice, so i don't expect people on here to label everyone who goes to matches as mugs...just for wanting to support their team. I know loads of people who have stopped going, again their choice, and it hasn't made any difference to the club at all...they want to replace us old school support. Why make it easy for them?

I concur. There are some who think because others do not do what they do or what they say others should do that others opinions and actions are Wrong.Redarmy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 3:25 pmYeah all fair points, as i say i don't go to the Emirates just don't like the experience, (and the regime) sitting with a load of tossers getting herded by the old bill after the game.....but fair play to those who do, each to their own and not sure why people feel they can dictate to otherssilus wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:14 amOr....if people hadn't given up going protests could have happened in the ground. We all want an end to this 'Hell', but each person must come to it and do what they can, as best they can in their own way. The in-fighting and bitching on here last season during the protests was bad enough, something tells me it is about to get worse, I hope not, but some people's ego's are off the scale and they think they are the be all and end all of knowing what is what, how something should be done because they say so.
Ironically and sadly they seem to have taken a leaf out of the Wenger bible.

It was really worth shoehorning the ox into the team yesterday wasn't it, I'd say he ran down to the bridge yesterday evening to sign the contract
Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY THREAD
Probably hoping for a coaching job after Gazidis promised change... seriously though what happened to Lehman joining the coaching staff? I'm sure he was on the bench in the pre-season games instead of Bouldy.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 2:49 pmKeown' s been an enabler though. I've never seen Keown this angry as a pundit. He's finally coming out of his shell and calling out the bumbling fool.
I also thought he was defending Steve Bould's position. Implying he's not allowed any input.

Yep Keown has been the archetypal media twat whose primary interest is ensuring that they say the right things in the right way that gets them invited back on MOTD or whatever.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 2:49 pmKeown' s been an enabler though. Seriously, they all have the same fucking views on just about everything. Souness is the only one I can stand because he's a cantankerous Scottish bastard and will generally call a spade a spade, and has hammered us consistently for years now.

Strong Rumours gathering speed about the arguments at the scouse ground at half-time on saturday. Apparently Ramsey called Kos 'A Load of Crap' at half-time and they had to be separated.... Monreal telling Ramsey and Xhaka to either 'man up' in the mid-field or get out....Ozil walked out of the dressing room ..and wenger just stood there doing Sweet FA. Then sanchez had an argument with Welbecks...

I bet Walcott was saying to people " hold me back, hold me back, you know what I'm like when I lose it"

Sorry mate I cannot find any reference anywhere to any of that happening... the only mention I can find of the dressing room response is this;OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 6:47 pmStrong Rumours gathering speed about the arguments at the scouse ground at half-time on saturday. Most pertinent quote there is "It’s alleged the dressing room in general was quiet, although goalkeeper Petr Cech voiced his views to his team-mates".
Now THAT sounds a lot more like Modern Arsene PLC than any of that horseshit you posted...
Re: LIVERPOOL AWAY THREAD
Seem to remember a couple of times last season when he squared up to the opposition player. Laughable really as he wouldn't scare anyone.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Thu Aug 31, 2017 8:21 pmYeah Walcott is well known for his hissy fits and dangerous tantrums...
