Referee mistakes and media coverage

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Referee mistakes and media coverage

Post by FacchettiBedin »

After the penalty in Arsenal - Milan, a mistake but in a douple match largely dominated by Arsenal, I found that Italian media were quite ridicoulous considering the defeat due to referee mistake. Now I see that almost the same is happening with German media after Bayern defeat
Do you think that British news, at least in this topic, are more balanced?

Just to give some background, I was referring to article like this, that make me really mad http://www.sunherald.com/sports/article210337269.html
That's quite incredible but sometimes you get more balanced information on the blog of a specific team, as http://www.arsenalnews.org/ or https://theprideoflondon.com/ for english soccer

The English media are traditionally very balanced - normally every 4 years around this time they start to tell everyone that "engerland are one of the favourites to win the world cup"

Bloody cheek - we are one of the favourites IF you discount Brazil, Germany, France, Spain, Argentina and Belgium
