Haven’t seen us closing out games with one goal leads like that for as long as I can remember.

That'll do very nicely, thank you. The type of a
European away performance we've lacked since the days of George Graham and the CWC. One goal, clean sheet, no real worries, won the game, come home. I've missed that and I really am starting to see parallels between Emery and late 80s GG.

yes, same work ethic - work hard, be organized, practice everything and attack with flair.

and both work very hard on the coaching side on the training pitches - remember the GG defence drills, he tied them together with rope

We are going to win something this year, i can feel it.

The win was never in doubt. Just knew we were going to get that deserved goal.

The Emery revolution marches on. :dancingbanana:

The transformation in every aspect of the team is incredible!!
It’s great to look forward to games every week, and it’s nearly November and still looking forward to the Xmas games rather than wishing it was May and all over!!
The only downside is it’s going to hurt to the stomach when we lose a game! A genuine football hurt, not the anticipated and expected hurt borne out of years of Wenger! But in a way I’ve missed that cos that’s what being a football fan is all about and I don’t think I’d actually been one for the 10 years!!! :barscarf:

Trouble is both Ra Ra's at the Angel and The Dover Street Wine Bar are now closed so the players have nowhere to go for their piss ups !

This totally but in a way i want it to come strangely enough, we're going to lose so i'd rather it was sooner rather than later, the longer the run goes on the more its going to fucking hurt when it happens.... i mean really hurt, losing under Wenger became expected so was less painful.

Only saw the last 20 mins or so but we look comfortable and in control, no injuries, no massive head rushes leading to sloppy goals, this revolution is really starting to take shape :barscarf: :barscarf:

Had to bring my youngest to his footie training so I missed most of the game  What I did see (in those last 20 minutes) was that we had a glorious chance to add a second on the counter attack when ramsey received the ball in the middle of the pitch - instead of just sweeping the ball to the right wing where we had a 2 v 1 advantage, he tried to twist and turn and allowed the opposition player to foul him and stop our attack :banghead:

11 wins is no mean feat people :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Just on a side note i was shocked when the commentator said it is 11 years since we won 11 in a row  (i guess time fliew under Wenger, but at the time it seemed never ending)

Always felt we were going to win that game.

We will be some way off winning the title this season, will still concede too many goals and will have disappointing results along the way.

But fucking hell we are a million miles better and I’m loving watch us. Can’t wait until Sunday.

A good measured performance. Welbeck disallowed goal was an absolutely brilliant header. He deserved his goal and I thought was our best player. Holding was close behind. Who got motm?
Ramsey was not good and took a step further away from the starting eleven.
Please can we swap our number 4 for chelski's number 4 in January? When Torreira came on, I was genuinely uncertain who was our no 4? It was elneny. Didn't know he was on the pitch. A 31 year old cesc would still contribute more in 20 mins than Elneny will ever do in 90 minutes.
A game under the last regime we would've lost in the last 10 minutes.

He only made a couple of mistakes during the game. What I love about him is his constant movement with or without the ball. Teams will realize if they push up on him while he is in our half he will still try to turn them before passing. That's when he's getting caught out & nailed in possession. He will learn to move it quicker in those situations as he gets older, (we hope !). At 19 we've a good'un.
1-0 to the Arsenal - love it. :barscarf: :barscarf:
