Stanley Matthews to cause our defense all sorts of problems
A nervy 1-2 away win
Iwobi to be the hero of the hour (and a half)

I know I'm an old fashioned daft old romantic but I'm driving up there for this one! Still can't resist the old FA Cup Third Round away games, so that's three in a row for me......hoping for more of a Preston emotion than a Forest one.
Wouldn't be surprised if Unai chucks it away as it is probably no more than an after thought for him but hoping he respects our cup heritage and doesn't play a complete team of stiffs. Saka and Nketiah will no doubt get their chances but we need to remember the lessons from Forest last year and respect the fact that Blackpool were half decent when we played them in the League Cup.
Play Auba / Laca and take them off if the job is done with 30 mins to go!

I'll be there Haven't missed an FA Cup game for four years. Think we'll win, no idea on the scoreline, but can't see us going very far this year tbh. Depends on our luck with the draw and how seriously Dick takes it. Get through this one first though eh?
I see Blackpool fans have a protest going on against their owner so plenty of empty seats in their end. Gooners requested not to buy anything in the ground.

Did they not give more tickets to us, or have their fans bought tickets to then boycott?
Sunderland took something ridiculous like 8k fans there yesterday because no Blackpool fans wanted to buy tickets so the club just gave them to the away club to sell.

Not sure how many we got in the end but would be surprised if they were buying tickets to then boycott. They've sworn not to give any money to the club until the owners go

i went there once with the QPR lads at work.
its a horrible place. really run down away from the bingo halls and arcades, and the local coppers really hate Cockneys.
they will bang long balls into the box, but hopefully we will be too quick and direct for them .
2-0. Iwobi and Kolasinac.

Could completely understand some rotation here. We are looking knackered and a few players - Torreira and Guendouzi in particular - look tired recently. Must be a big step up to play 2 games a week in the PL from where they’ve come from. We have looked tired recently since the Spurs league win.
That said, I fucking love the FA Cup and we are heading into a much kinder period. We are only playing 1 midweek out of the next 5 and not until 29 Jan (home to Cardiff). Plenty of recovery time. Let’s play a decent side, start Lacazette and win the game with a bit of firepower on the bench if needs be.

I went to Blackpool when I was a kid. It was shit and I went on a donkey. I feel desperately sorry for their fans for having to put up with that rapist *word censored* of an owner and for having to live in Blackpool.

Their owner Rapey Oyston dresses like a complete arsehole even when he's not off raping and stuff. Someone should take that hat off his stupid fucking head and suffocate him with it.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Wed Jan 02, 2019 11:11 pmI went to Blackpool when I was a kid. anyone going on Saturday should remember to NOT spend any money at the Blackpool ground.
do not buy a programme or have a drink or buy any food. use facilities outside of the ground only.
their club have an even worse owner than us.

I was thinking of going up for the weekend for this one but I've been hit with manflu and haven't left my pit for the past 3 days so that's off . An easy win !
