Manc Filth (H) 10/03 @ 16:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

In case anybody was wondering whether you are allowed to apply the “any kind of touch at that pace” bollocks to Lacazette, apparently you’re not.

We have ridden our luck at times today, but they are also a seriously pretty good side. We have pressed brilliantly all game, it’s just that they’ve had enough quality to pass around that press for a lot of the game. We just look a different side with Koscielny and Sokratis together alongside Monreal - what a shame injuries have kept us from fielding decent defensive line-ups.

Iwobi for the second game this season getting absolutely roasted by Young for pace. Can we stop pretending he is rapid?

Can’t see any of them wankers dancing around on the pitch after today.

well played. Good tactics from Dick. Keeping three up meant they couldn't overpower us, it would have been easy to sit back too much and hand them all the impetus. Fucking delighted but how that missed pen against Spuds hurts!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Got to say that was a pretty good all round performance and i dont think anyone had a bad game, well done UE on selection and tactics :barscarf: :barscarf:

(Slight caveat being why the fuck we cant play like that against 10th place in league Un even if it is away from home, never mind the same result Thurs will see us through)

Him and Leno played really well, thought Laca did as well except he didn't take his chances. :?

Unai's at the wheel... :barscarf: And thank Christ for that. A proper manager with experience at the top level rather than some ex player with little experience apart from in the world renowned Norwegian league and being shit at Cardiff.

Fantastic chance of top 4 now IF we can sort out our away form again.
