Manc Filth (H) 10/03 @ 16:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We have an easy run in, our next PL game is April 1st.

The spuds have city away and united have FOUR of the top seven.

Suarez had quick feet and nice balance today.

That back five won it for us though.

Souness..."If you don't start right you hand the initiative to the lesser team" So we're the "lesser team" are we.....then how come we are above them in the table? And have been for most of the season..............

Heard that too, and it pissed me off as well.

One thing I did like though, was the recognition from souness, Neville and Carragher, that dick has revitalised the place, and that we are overachieving with the squad we have - we have too many fans who still don't recognise how poor our squad actually is, and expect dick to be doing a lot better than we are

Long overdue getting a dodgy penalty against those cants however I fully extpect the league to throw the book at us for the test that pushed Smalling.

Great performance today by everyone on the pitch.

I'm so happy to beat Utd and it's a bonus to end their unbeaten run (like they did to ours way back).

well done Mr Emery, buy you a pint after the game. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Gotta give Emery credit for where we are right now. Yeah, the twats down the road are imploding, but working with an utter dogshit defence Emery has instilled some resilience into the team.

A player I have to single out apart from Leno who is the obvious MOM is Laca, he worked his socks off closing down when we were struggling to retain possession. He epitomises was Arsenal used to be about with a dogged spirit interspersed of course with moments of quality although he should have buried his 1 on 1. I will forgive him that though for his exceptional work rate.

I couldn't have dreamed of being in this position with this team, and Tottenham must be shitting themselves at the thought of playing Europa League football in that shiny new stadium. 62,000 sellout crowds for Bate Borisov? Nahhh!!!!

We're coming for you!

Thanks mate.

Dick said he was proud of the fans today, who pushed the team on and hes very happy for them.

OSG said they didn't deserve to lose

Press seem to recognize the fight and steel today we showed today. AMN got several MOTMs.

What a difference a year makes.

Lacazette outstanding. Work rate, physicality, composure and touch - terrified them.

Rewind 12 months and remember that pathetic bloke frightened of his own shadow and that backpass to Lloris when through on goal at Wembley?

I'm surprised that so many Gooners think that today's penalty was a soft decision  I thought that there was a clear push in the back and for me it was a nailed on penalty 8)
Would never have let bangbang take it though

Fucking stupid prick running on the pitch after our goal.

Would have fully applauded Smalling if he has broken his jaw.
Credit to Smalling for the way he reacted....top class

Clear penalty and if Manure want to complain, they are, as always, whining fucking hypocrites.
