I can't find the st totteringham day thread, so posted here.

Wouldn't it be the icing on the cake if we pipped the nomads over the coming matches, to finish ahead of them, 3rd or 4th.
Seemingly highly improbable, but not impossible.
Oh, the sweet, sweet irony if we managed the most unexpected St Totteringham Day ever, grasped from the clutches of the PL champs elect.
Yup, we're shite mostly this season, but so fvckin what? They are always shite and got lucky in 2-3 seasons. :box:
There would be a couple of punters on here dismayed by that mate!

Fuck 'em.

From title challengers and second in the PL
to possibly finishing sixth in a three horse race.
New toilet for the home games and Thursday night footy.
Cants, deserve no less.

Ah, the vision......a perfect world scenario.

While obviously we should be one of the teams to deprive the vermin scum of a CL place, if it ends up the chavs and manure then I'll settle for that too. The thought of a half empty toilet bowl for seasons to come is truly inspiring

On a serious note, their stadium was due to cost 400m and is closer to 1bn (or so I’ve read). If they then miss out on CL revenue, or even anyway, surely their pursestrings will have been pulled so tight then will have snapped long ago?

I know they are getting some dodgy funding from that shithole local authority but that is a frightening overspend.

The practicalities don't add up. Look what the stadium move helped do to us for a decade. Tightened purse strings and keeping a past it manager in the job because he could balance the books.

And we are a far far bigger club with far more support, far more marketable, with a pedigree of winning, and a trophy haul as long as your arm - and most of it in colour!

These fuckwits are building a bigger stadium that costs more, with a smaller fan base and zero pedigree as winners and limited marketability.

They are fucked and they don't even know it.

the real test will come for them next time the contracts round is due in three years - fat tongue and eyebrows will head off to City and Liverpool respectively and Son will head to Italy, as they won't be able to match the wages

there was absolutely no reason to build a bigger ground - other than to claim to be the biggest club in London, and for that to ring true they'd have to win twelve league titles and six FA Cups before we win anything else...

based on the strength of Liverpool and City right now and united and the chavs money, they would be lucky to get one title every four/five years, so at best they are 48 years from being 'the biggest club in London'. meanwhile, they owe a billion quid plus interest.....

Having a big ground hasn’t turned Newcastle into major contenders has it ?

Unfortunately for them a highly polished turd in Tottenham is still a turd.

West Ham have, I believe, either permission to or already have extended the capacity at the London Stadium to 66,000 rendering the tiny tots claim irrelevant (and they don’t even have a cheese shop)

Football can change very quickly and their model is built on sand

When we moved into the new stadium we were CL runners up and 2 years off an Invincible season and a decade of success.......we were able to retain and attract some decent players and whilst Chavski and the Barcawhores threw their dosh around, City and PSG were a glint in the arabs' eyes.

Just imagine them rolling into the £1bn bowl, a year behind schedule, finishing 5th/6th and not a trophy to be seen. The Vermin were celebrating Zidane being reappointed to Madrid today and Solskjaer's success at Man U, as they now believe Podgie will stay but United and Madrid have been changing managers regularly and his name will constantly be linked with major jobs.

We thought it was all going our way when we moved to the bowl, then Maureen and Wenger's lobotomy turned it all over. I'd love to see this experiment bankrupt the c.unts.

Also the location upper street is these days a destination for restaurants and bars, as well as some surrounding areas, Tottenham is somewhere you go to get mugged or find a dodgy toothless brass. And Chuck into that the fan culture of racist *word censored*, that shit can't be gentrified.
