Several players who were really drifting in their Arsenal careers have really stepped it up. I'm talking about
Maitland Niles, Mhiki and Kolasinac.

Maitland-Niles I have always been a fan of and have high hopes - mikki and kolasniac I'm not convinced about cos they can be really good and really shit

Also thought our game management at 3 nil was really poor.

Yes Auba should have buried the whinging cuuunts (hard to hammer him all the same with 2 goals and as assist) but they were able to cut us open far too easily as our shape was really loose. We should have been way more solid and difficult to break down and will need to be better in that respect from here on in.

So who do we want in the QF then?
If they get through we will get Sevilla
Currently 5-5 in extra time with slavia Prague

Gabons national side are nicknamed the Panthers. Who knew.

Sevilla currently winning on three away goals.

Ironic if we get them in a final or semi.

He donned a Spider-Man mask a few times at Dortmund.

On my way back.
Good win tonight.

Aubamayang is different class to Lacazette - he knows where the goal is.

Maitland Nile’s superb - he deserved his goal

Cech - did well. Tonight is about his level.
I would hope he would have the sense to retire now.

Ozil - some nice touches. I still don’t feel he is 100% though.

Nice to put that delightful bunch out. Unreal amounts of whinging and protesting from their bench all night long. Embarrassing. Ramsey excellent.

Anyone but Napoli or Chelsea in the draw now please. Reckon it'll be Benfica.

Tonight was just about going through. Can’t underestimate the trickiness of overturning a 2-goal deficit, even against an average side.

70 minutes of pretty dour football, but to be fair it was the first 20 minutes where we won the tie. It was vital that we went out, started well and got an early goal (or two!).

Ramsey been superb tbf

Have to say that my respect for ramsey has gone through the roof over the last couple of months - I am still absolutely of the opinion that he is not worth the type of wages that he was looking for, but his attitude and workrate has not diminished one jot (might have actually increased  ) since his impending departure was announced 8)
Just like Wenger always said, players will try harder when their contracts running down :D

Their bench was hideous tonight, by far the worst one this season probably. Any contact and all jumped out. Latvian officials didn’t help either, everyone tried taking advantage. Atmosphere was a beauty though, for a Thursday night.

I actually want Chelsea for the sake of knocking them out but all costs avoid Napoli. Anyone else should be a good day out.
