THE FRANKSAV MUSIC THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Everyone needs to watch,"After the screaming stops," the Bros "Rockumentary."
It's like "This is Spinal Tap," meets the David Brent tour film,
absolutely hilarious, and full of "Tapesque" one liners!
Do they play any Bros "music" in that doc because if they do I can't watch it.

Dates me a bit but recently got into Neil Young, pretty much because of David Crosby's comment that NY wrote better songs than the three of CSN combined.

If you listen to nothing else, check out Thrasher (if you like Dylan you'll love it) and Ramada Inn (an absolute tour de force), and post any comments.

They guy was written some amazing songs, and not just the ones everyone knows.

Agree, absolutely top quality and unbelievably it's almost 50 years old. Includes 'Old Man' another brilliant song, though the album version which I prefer is as technically perfect as you can get.

Going to see Foo Fighters at Olympic Stadium Friday 22nd, never seen them before so very much looking forward to it.
Mate, sorry to do it this way but I seem to be having trouble sending DM's (or I may have resent you 14 emails by accident) but with regards to the message you sent about the Ipswich gig,I messaged the concerned party yesterday and was told that it isnt a gig they booked,so they will contact the actual venue to see what they can do for you mate,so sit tight and I'll let you know what I hear back,
And like I said you may have 14 DM's in your inbox, that is my fault

I had a shuddering recollection of “Highbury High’s “ for a moment and feared it was that.

What an awful embarrassing crass fake saccharine moment that was. Fucking awful song from a man that sang on some absolute classics.

The only thing that would have made "Highbury Highs" worse that day was if Wenger had jumped up and grabbed the mic and done some slow rhythmic pelvic gyrations while belting out a chorus or two....

:puke:
