Obviously I only mean the proper players - I'm hoping Comedy picked up a season-ender.

Expect nothing better from him. He'd forget his head if it wasn't attached. He laughs everytime I tell him that
On this note, I am going 2-0 or 2-1 depending how slow we turn up. Looking forward to the rush hour traffic to get to the ground and (hopefully not) half of the stadium turn up.

Have to be honest and say that I am scared shitless about this game - if it was played two weeks ago I would have been very confident, but the international break has come at a bad time and might break our momentum and we cannot afford to drop any points at home for the rest of this season. Win this game and it will put us back in the groove again before we play some tricky away games.
Isnt it typical that the international break came at a great time for the scum and manure ? Both were suffering a real dip and were under serious pressure for top 4, but the interlull will have given them a chance to clear their heads and that isn't good news for us. I have no doubt that giving the manure gig full time to solskjaer today is meant to be some sort of boost to their players, to help them kick on for the remainder of the season - I think that had they not lost their last 2 games they would have held off giving him the job until the end of the season, but maybe they think that the players will be delighted that he got the job and be confident again

Can Arsenal perform on the night?
That's the question. We're perfectly placed to leapfrog Spurs with a win over Newcastle but who knows what we'll play like tomorrow.
I hope we batter them but will be happy with any kind of win.
Shame Utd and Chelsea won but MNF is still worth a watch to see how we do.
C'mon you reds!!

If this was a Wenger game, the "pressure" would pretty much guarantee a defeat.Midz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 8:28 pmCan Arsenal perform on the night?

This is no gimme, I know 3 points is 3 points but I would love to see a confidence boosting clear cut win, without conceding. Is that too much to ask??

Last season we finished with 63 points, a win here would see us match that tally with seven games to spare.
Be careful what you wish for

I don't think we do this. We want edgy wins and play with the blood pressure rising each time we give away the ball. Still doesn't prevent 'fans' from leaving the stadium at the brink of the 70th minute though!xisstential wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 7:16 amIf this was a Wenger game, the "pressure" would pretty much guarantee a defeat.Midz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 8:28 pmCan Arsenal perform on the night?

Arsenal XI: Leno, Mustafi, Papastathopoulos, Monreal, Maitland-Niles, Ramsey, Guendouzi, Kolasinac, Ozil, Iwobi, Lacazette
Subs: Cech, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang, Suarez, Jenkinson, Nketiah
Come on you Gunners. Let's do what we need to do.

Any reason why Aubameyang is on the bench or is it purely tactical?

I can only think of Unai thinks that Newcastle will park the bus. We shall see.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 6:07 pmAny reason why Aubameyang is on the bench or is it purely tactical?
