As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Happy enough with that. I'd much rather have our group than Manures certainly
Frankfurt is a nice place and the food is good. I'll definitely be eating a few sausages over there.
On a side note, how funny was it listening to Ashley Cole botching every teams name he pulled out

Wow, you wouldn't have posted that 10 years ago.
The times they are a changing
They are indeed
In the good old days, this sort of debauchery took place in the tennis thread or thr six nations rugby one.
Funny this, match away to Vitoria is scheduled for
a) 7th Nov, 18:55 CET (according to UEFA website)
b) 6th Nov 15:50 CET (according to Vitoria website)
c) 6th/7th Nov date and k.o. tbc (according to Arsenal website)
Can't complain, at least two good away days scheduled. Been planning to do a trip of Munich, Stuttgart and Nuremberg. Boom, Frankfurt not too far so this is excellent.
On this note, I'll say Ciao to Plzen, what the hell is this random ass kick off time.
in the UK the match will be over before most people leave work.
in New York the kick off time will be just before 11am
in Beijing the kick off time will be just before 11pm
hardly much of a "global reach"
I am personally sick of the "dilution" of football fixtures.
it used to be far more interesting when a round of fixtures kicked off at the same time.
although you can in theory watch far more matches these days, i end up watching far less.
for example if a Chelsea CL match kicks off at 6pm then I won't watch it.
however if it kicked off at the same time as an Arsenal Europa league match, and I was watching in a pub then I would keep an eye on that one as well.
