Soton H Sat 23rd Ko 3pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hmmm, it's usually 41 points to definitely avoid regulation, 8 points from the next nine matches would be slightly worrying

Under Wenger we became specialists at gifting points to struggling teams and it is a trend I feel is set to continue, I think a draw from a leading position is the likely outcome. :rubchin:

Lets be serious we are no longer a big club ,we have been demoted to once proud ,next stop is sleeping giant ,as we know from fairy stories that can be up to 100 years before we awake from the slumber or until we get kissed by a Prince !
If we can't take 3 points from Southampton we are really in the shit !
Many wins out of that lot anyone???
Norwich draw at best
Brighton win(maybe)
West ham draw at best
City brownholing
Everton draw at best
Bournemouth draw at best
United probably 5 each cos we're both shite
Chavs brownholing

Out of the next 9 we're looking at about 10pts I would say

That's a fair shout of where we are likely to be by the end of the year. We are quite capable of screwing up any of the away fixtures as anybody that gets stuck in is likely to get all 3 points.
Us not to win away from home is definitely the play for anyone who likes a punt.Norwich West Ham Everton Bournemouth..were that shite I can't see a win amongst those

i think the club are starting to struggle to get people to buy tickets

just had an email saying that you can buy up to 4 extra tickets with a "friends and family service" :D
i do think that the Brighton game on Thursday 5th December with an 8.15pm kick off could be a hard sell.

I was thinking of going but thinking I might just watch it on the new Amazon coverage instead 8)

Leave them empty I presume?, or maybe they can dig out those cardboard cutouts we used briefly when the new north bank was being built at Highbury?, in fact they might want to do that anyway what with us getting sh**ter all the time and boring as f*ck on top, they may need to paper over the empty seats on a regular basis.

Jeeesuuuuus there's still over a week until the next game. These interlulls are killing me, they're like mini summers only without a holiday :x

I could cope with all that but having to listen to Gareth "2 league cups" Southgate all week is too much for any man to bear

I'm sure it will follow the tried and tested format which has been firmly established over the last decade or so; we'll take an early lead then gift them a goal from a carelessly conceded free-kick or a penalty from an embarrassingly naive and reckless tackle in the box and then spend 50 minutes failing to create even a single goal-scoring opportunity.

:rubchin:

Actually I think you may have hit on something there.

The majority of fans have been saying that under Emery Arsenal no longer have a distinctive or recognisable style...

Ohh Contraire mon copains

Our new style is very evident:

We take the lead

We drop deep

The opposition take charge of the game

The opposition score

We cling on for dear life

We Fuckk up

simples. :?
