No! This is the problem at our Club: putting money and finance ahead of performance on the pitch. Bin Ozil as a sunk cost. Arteta has said ruthlessness is what's needed, and I'm sure he has made that requirement or condition of his tenure clear to the executive leadership and obtained their support. The Club needs to make a stand that half-hearted prima-donna footballers, no matter how legendary, that are distracted by political and personal agendas are NOT wanted and will NOT be tolerated. The German FA didn't put up with this reverse racist BS by Ozil and neither must our great Club. Ozil =sunk cost, over and OUT!DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 6:57 amAgree with half your post but the other half is nonsense mate. He's got to go certainly and is deffo not the player he was. But to drop a player and still pay him 350k a week is insane. Better that Arteta gets in his head motivates him to show he can still do a bit and then gets a couple Turkish clubs interested. Sell him at a loss if need be. The most important thing is to free up that 350k.Wengerballs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 4:56 amOzil HAS to be finished now and never play again for us. Bang average displays on the pitch, grossly overpaid, tantrums, bad attitude, always pulling lying sickies with the latest about some fake or exaggerated foot injury (probably from kicking his thrown gloves after being subbed), and now he's turning the massive Chinese market from us with his social comments. Hes an overrated, spoilt, sulky prima donna and toxic. New position 'left right out' for the remainder of his contract, regardless of his exorbitant wages. He must be frozen out and all the idiot Ozil fetishists singing for him need to shut the heck up.

Um you do know that Ozil quit the German team because their FA are racist cùnts right? The German FA didn't do anything but try pretend they were innocent.Wengerballs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 7:07 amNo! Anyway it's all well and fine trying to go down the moral high ground route the problem is money is key to what happens next for us. We have none. So paying a guy 350k a week to sit in the reserves is madness.

Ozil alienated himself getting played by an authoritarian leader before the World Cup and was rightly criticized by the German FA. Hes at it again on our turf, pushing religio political agendas and shitting on the hand that feeds him. Our ELT need to get shot of him asap. $350k a week is nothing compared to the harm to our commercial interests from alienating the Chinese market.

Also you are comparing 2 very different types of player. Why not compare Aubameyang with Bergkamp while you are at it?SydneyGooner wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2019 11:39 amSaw the highlights for the City vs Leicester game and I wonder how much KdB is on a week? Even during Ozil's best days at Madrid was he ever as good as KdB?
Whatever you say little man.

And yet in your other post you were saying we shouldn't be "putting money and finance ahead of performance on the pitch"? Now you are all about the Chinese market?Wengerballs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 9:33 amOzil alienated himself getting played by an authoritarian leader before the World Cup and was rightly criticized by the German FA. Besides that he was mainly shit towards the end playing for Germany....if Arteta falls for it he will create problems for him just like he did EmeryWengerballs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 9:33 amOzil alienated himself getting played by an authoritarian leader before the World Cup and was rightly criticized by the German FA. Re: OZIL - Merged Thread
He had certainly dropped below the required international standard by the end no doubt but he was also playing in a German team that had gone to shit and whose strikers could not finish the chances he created. He was one of their best players in that 2018 finals and was scapegoated by the media cùnts. https://www-givemesport-com.cdn.ampproj ... l-footballRedarmy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 3:50 pmBesides that he was mainly shit towards the end playing for Germany....if Arteta falls for it he will create problems for him just like he did EmeryWengerballs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 9:33 amOzil alienated himself getting played by an authoritarian leader before the World Cup and was rightly criticized by the German FA. A nice late Christmas would be seeing some desperate mob take this fucking prick off our hands - honest to god, more column inches than Brexit and all for some consistently, underperforming cock who supposedly hasn't been treated well by any of the managers we've had in his wasted years here
Go and play in Turkey with your mates and take the pay cut that comes with it

Don't think I'll be happier to see a player leave then when we finally manage to rid ourselves of the Turkish Bogarde.
