Is Xhaka still out from that severe blow to the head he received?

And is there a more inappropriate name in football than this wristy over-sensitive fanny boy having a name like Granit? Or were his parents just being ironic in the way giving a water buffalo a name like Tinkerbell is? Fucking Granite my arse!

Anyway lets hope his head recovers in time for him to sign for Hertha Berlin! My Hertha supporting mate will be fucking livid   8)
Granit is Albanian for Minge........

Arsenal confirm Calum Chambers has ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. 6-9 months out. Huge blow to him and the club.

And that 6 to 9 months estimate is optimistic and based on all going well with healing and rehab work and with no set backs or "leetle beet neegle". Really with that ruptured ACL you are talking about a year before his next first team appearance.

That sucks for him and the team. Chambers was probably the least poor of our defenders under Emery and could have looked at becoming first choice under Arteta. Hope he has a steady recovery.

It isn't just that, but with a new manager coming in now will mean that this Arsenal team will have moved on by the time he comes back, so his career with us is in all likelihood over :(

I liked the guy so hope he comes back stronger than ever, but the serious injuries are piling up for him now

:( What a Fuckinng sickner for the lad... That is a real Bummer. As some have rightly said he was one of our better defenders and always gave 100%... 9 months is a long time in a footballers career, but to have it happen after his other injury and now with a new manager and all the players looking energised and inspired.

Seems like Nelson has done something in training that’s pretty serious.

Bellerin's latest issue is said to be a tear to his right groin, suffered in the process of doing additional drills as Arsenal prepared for the visit of Newcastle. Player has been given pain killers to control discomfort so he can be available for selection. [@David_Ornstein]

Bellerin's groin complaint has hampered his performances with player said to have difficulty in crossing the ball. It is hoped a less congested fixture schedule can give him more time to heal and give him a run of games to re-establish himself. [@David_Ornstein]
