And yes, they have a striker on a shit scoring run so fill your boots, David McGoldrick! Whatever funds you have available, get on to score at any time.

Gotta be worth a punt given our defence and history of being the gift that keeps on giving to struggling teams and struggling strikers.

Ohhh! Great ! That's all we need that smug faced inept (its all about me!!! I'm in charge naaah naaah) fucktwat useless biased prickofaCUNT to ref the game...He can't wait to book Arsenal players, mark my words you watch him let sheffshyte kick Pepe to pieces and as soon as one of our defenders gives it back out will come the card/s.. CEEUUUNTT.
Re: Sheffield United|Home|PL|Saturday 18th January|3pm KO
He is not a striker per se, and is more of a number 10 but plays as a 9 for Sheffield united and Ireland. His main asset would be his intelligent movement off the ball and that is where he could do damage to our centre halves
As is always the case with our team nowadays, the first goal will be huge in this game - if they score it then they will set up a wall that our numpties wouldnt breakthrough in a year ( ), but if we score first it will force them to come out and will open the game up for us.
I know that it is ONLY sheffield united ( ), but this will be a small test for arteta - not many team play a 3-5-2 formation these days, but a master tactician (like arteta is meant to be) should be able to come up with a plan to use their system against them (ie exploit the spaces behind their wing backs). Will arteta's tactics be based on forcing our will and gameplan on them, or will it be set up to negate what they do well.
God knows how this will go

Saka and Martinelli are going to have to work their tits off for us to win today.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 2:03 pm#afc XI: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Luiz, Mustafi, Saka, Torreira, Xhaka, Pepe, Ozil, Martinelli, Lacazette

I never thiught id see saka and AMN as our full backs. Interesting.
Mustafi and Luiz are good for two goals when they are together.
This is going to be either brilliant or terrible.
I think we'll win 3-2
Streams anyone ? - im away on my hols at the mo.

Mustafi, Xhaka and Dean on the same pitch what could go wrong?
Re: Sheffield United|Home|PL|Saturday 18th January|3pm KO
Just goes to show how much confidence arteta has in holding that mustafi can start ahead of him when mustafi hasn't even made the bench lately

I know people will say Sheffield are only a Championship side but for me they are probably the best and most organised team to come up in years, they dont have any real flair players but they play to a system which most supposedly 'better' premier league teams find it tough to match and so far they are showing it again today.
