Jesus I hope our couple of soccerball fans on here will be okay after hearing this devastating news of the victims losing.

If we could follow this up with a wee St Totts sometime in may that would be lovely

I'm a negative bastard when it comes to the club but the annual attempt at belittling one of the greatest achievements in the history of football has failed and I couldn't be happier. In any logical world, we have had billionaires from Chelsea and City in the last 16 years and despite the endless pit of money, neither can match the invincibles - that should be the proof of what the season 03/04 was but instead it's used by *word censored* like Adrian Durham to push the "was they all that" narrative. The reality(no matter how the media pushes it) is we achieved something in 03/04 that will be never matched again - and as shit as we are right now, il remember our glorious past

Never in doubt. However, the way they got battered like that by a team fighting relegation was very surprising.

Personally I do not think that 2004 team was our greatest ever team. I would put the 2002 side ahead. Maybe the teams from 71, 91 and even 99 too.
But what an achievement to do something like that and to do it without being bankrolled. Or without the ridiculous money that has changed the dynamic of the game.

Saw this on twatter and it was most pleasing
After yesterday’s result, Liverpool’s single biggest achievement remains being the only team in history to get all English clubs banned from Europe.

Re: Happy Invincibles Day!
We should make this a thing every year.
Weekend going to plan so far.
Now, are they still to be considered the greatest team in Premier League history now they got beat by Watford?
At least we lost our run to a proper team like Manure.
