Re: Spuds or Victims
As funny as it would be if the Premier League is forced to cancel the season before the victims win the league, I think it would also be divine retribution / kismet / karma / whatever for the murders of 39 Italian football fans.

Worrying scenes last night as Leipzig player Mukiele was sparked and swallowed his own tongue. Not something Harry Kane will ever worry about. Wouldn't be physically possible.

The National women’s football league season has today been declared null and void by the FA
No promotion / relegation it will be as if the season did not happen.

..the knock on effect will mean no promotion to the next tier, presumably no promotion to the women’s super league the tier above that.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 4:59 pmSums up women's football every season..It was as if it never happened.
It also sets a precedent - men’s game to follow suit ?

I don't think the NWFL is capable of setting a precedentStuartL wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:38 pm..the knock on effect will mean no promotion to the next tier, presumably no promotion to the women’s super league the tier above that.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 4:59 pmSums up women's football every season..It was as if it never happened.

The men's game may finally come to the same decision but it will in no way stem from this decision

Did their press statement go something along the lines of "having reviewed the earlier decision of the ladies league to jack it in, we decided that's good enough for us and have followed suit"StuartL wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 6:24 pmJock Gooner wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:55 pmI don't think the NWFL is capable of setting a precedentStuartL wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 5:38 pm..the knock on effect will mean no promotion to the next tier, presumably no promotion to the women’s super league the tier above that.Bradywasking wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 4:59 pmSums up women's football every season..It was as if it never happened.
