Season predictor / What happens next? Merged thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The key thing is they null and void all league's seasons. No winners, no relegation, no promotion. Null and void. For the good of humanity and for the integrity of the game. Null and void. Also no one that isn't a cûnt wants to see the victims handed a PL title.

Considering footballers have been in isolation and lockdown for 6-7 weeks now, maybe, it is safe for them to play out the remaining games of the season behind closed doors.

Could be that you’ve been down in the basement where Herd was waxing lyrical about Jodie Foster and you can still smell her scent ? *

They amended the scene where she meets Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs from “ I can smell your cu.nt Clarice” to the more acceptable “I can smell your scent” when it was broadcast on tv.

Reminds me of that old Harry Enfield sketch where he introduced the movie Goodfellas....

I copy and pasted this from some fan site:

“Badfellas”

Harry Enfield and Chums sketch show. Hilarious comedy routine sending up the ridiculous way movie dialogue is edited for tv broadcast.

Announcer: And now on BBC Two, Martin Scorsese’s highly acclaimed “Badfellas”. Viewers might like to know, this film has been specially ruined for television.

[police siren]
Badfella1: Hey!
Badfella2: Heeey!
Badfella1: Hey, Tony.
Badfella2: Hey, Tony, how’s things?
Badfella1: Yeah, Okay. Yeah.
Badfella2: How is your wife?
Badfella1: Why are you saying about my wife?
Badfella2: I ain’t saying nothin’ about your wife
Badfella1: You know my wife?
Badfella2: Hey! Sure I know your wife.
Badfella1: Did you fun my wife?
Badfella2: Nah, I did not fun your wife.
Badfella1: Fun my wife. Did you FUN my wife?
Badfella2: I didn’t fun your wife.
Badfella1: Did you FUN my wife! Is that what you saying, you fun my wife? Funny.
Badfella2: No, Tony, I did not fun your wife. Just suck my duck. And I ain’t a puppy.
Badfella1: Kiss my knee, muddy funster!
Badfella2: Who you call muddy funster? You talking bull mud. Goddamn cake sucker!
Badfella1: Fun you, ear-hole!
Badfella2: You full of number twos. Suck my lozenge you goddamn [bell effect]. [bell effect] nit-wit.
[both together]
Badfella1: Heeey!
Badfella2: Heeey!

Looks like the PL are considering average points per game, in this scenario we would finish above the Middlesex swamp vermin in 8th place. :barscarf: Seems a strange system as four clubs including us still have a game in hand.

Dutch have cancelled their league whilst Ze Germans are still planing starting matches. :rubchin:

They appear hell bent on playing the required number of matches (probably 2 or 3) to ensure the scousers win the league, then can declare it over, regardless if the other fixture get finished or not, so they don’t incur the wrath of Merseyside ( well one half of it)

What gives footballers priority on getting tested (all be it paid for by their clubs) over key workers ?
Having 22 sweaty footballers, grappling, groping, each other at corners is a surefire way to show the public that they can go out and do the same .
