Interesting angle on the Premier League finishing or not coming from The Merseyside Police..They fear The Victims winning a title behind closed doors could lead to an explosion of their fans coming out onto the streets of Liverpool. The Police don't want this to happen because of the fears of the spread of Covid19, they say, and probably because the potential for public disorder would be quite high . There would be Street drinking because pubs are closed...Liverpool fans are generally unable to behave or take direction from authorities..

That said, I can’t see the season resuming, with 6 or 7 clubs still in a relegation fight, there’s no way they’re going to vote to risk their plge status, with the most financially challenging times around the corner.
The mousers will be “awarded” the title, something which will make them objects of ridicule when they try to call themselves “champions” for years to come.
