Remember when he used to come out with “one day I will tell you” bullishit? I wonder will any of that nonsense be in there.
I won’t buy it but no doubt will get it as a present from somebody. Maybe he’ll go into detail about the lobotomy he had circa 2008 that turned him into an absolute fucking nutter.

Oh there will be plenty of that.rodders999 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 9:52 amRemember when he used to come out with “one day I will tell you” bullishit? I wonder will any of that nonsense be in there.

The worst thing to happen to Wenger is the unbeaten season. He slowly sarted to disappear up his own arse after that.
Am I right in thinking that he hasn't been back since he left?
He's a bitter old man

I get the impression that a lot of the paragraphs will end with: "Needless to say, I had the last laugh."

I wonder if Wenger believes he is still manager of Arsenal?

Wenger bingo cards at the ready boys:
‘I turned down every other club in the world’
‘I gave absolutely everything for this club’
‘The infighting between the fans was partly to blame’
‘20 years in the CL’

I'll deffo buy it and read it. I just tend to read every Arsenal related book that gets published. Been some great ones and some really really deeply shit self serving shit ones (Merson).

Oh and anything written by that Arsenal superfan bird that ruined the 89 film is complete shit.
I challenge you all to read the utter shit she wrote for Romford's biography and not think it was written by Joe Cole after a full lobotomy. Fucking horrible tedious writing. I'd love to see a talented writer rewrite Romford's book because there are some great stories in there that she killed with her shitness.

i may get it for my old man, but would probbaly wait till its reduced to 50p or something in the Works bargain bin, or borrow it from libaray.
too curious not to.
it probably will be full of shit but still its the greatest period most of us have known at our club so there should be some interesting bits amongst the excuses and the days of hodding bricks as he singlehandely built the new stadium

If I thought for one moment there may be a hint of humility and some empathy with the average fan I might be tempted, but I very much doubt it. Will no doubt be another one for the likes of John Cross to beat his meat over and hang off his every word blaming everything from financially doped clubs to the failure of FFP. I'd rather paint the fence again

I will go and watch it being pulped if it meets a similar endPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 11:00 amI get the impression that a lot of the paragraphs will end with: "Needless to say, I had the last laugh."

Reading the blurb on the link posted on here was enough to make up my mind not to read it.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 3:59 pmIf I thought for one moment there may be a hint of humility and some empathy with the average fan I might be tempted, but I very much doubt it. ‘He offers studious reflections on the game and his groundbreaking approach’
‘Sharing principles for success on and off the pitch with lessons in leadership...’
I appreciate he didn’t write the boke inducing sales pitch himself but it doesn’t look like there will be much humility involved in this book!

Thank you. The similarities between the two of them are quite striking.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 1:29 pmSuperb Partridge referencing there Perry.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 11:00 amI get the impression that a lot of the paragraphs will end with: "Needless to say, I had the last laugh."
