Forgot that I backed us in a sneaky double with Dortmund.

Well thank fuck for that!
Well played Eddie. Don’t think we’ll get away with playing like that very often

Horrific performance but take the 3 points and run and make sure we never produce that type of shit again this season.
Thing is Dodders as long as we have absolute wankerrs like kolasinac and xhaka in the squad - There will always be BAD Games.

It might have been a terrible performance but too often in the past we would have wilted in a match like that so those 3 points are just another little stepping stone.

We need to offload the dross obviously but it worries me that with finances as they are we might leave ourselves short overall :rubchin:

How’s the confidence in Leno now .
Fabianski must have been laughing at all the flapping going on.

Lucky win apart from the last ten minutes we were awful .Just hope n one of the teams linked to kebabasnatch were watching as the only way a team will buy him now is if they need a very expensive security guard/doorman ,West Ham won't touch him now.

I said Leno was a worry when it came to commanding his area and we might regret Martinez going, tonight performance has done nothing to alter that. Leno may be a better shot stopper but i am not convinced he is overall a better goalkeeper.... of course Martinez going to Villa means he wont be able to prove anything as arguably they have a worse defence than us so i expect he'll be picking balls out the net fairly regularly :banghead:

Horrific performance and there’s no way we deserved to win that  they all count though!

Saka with 2 superb, incisive pre-assists!

Leno scares the shit out of me on every high ball into our box. After a few months of Martinez dominating his area, I’m back to hiding behind the sofa! :(

Man, we’re desperate for some more quality in Central midfield. Need to sign a player or 2 in there!

Joint top! :barscarf:

The spot light is massively on Leno now after he was chosen as the number 1 ahead of a keeper who didn’t put a foot wrong in the run in last season.

He will have to do a lot better than the flapping at crosses and misplacing passes 40 yards outside his own goal that went on tonight.

Ceballos and Eddie fought in the warm up last week, tonight one played in the other for the winner.

It’s a funny ol’ game :barscarf:

Slightly concerned about Gabriel and headers. Last week against Fulham he goes up for a header it comes off his shoulder and he scores.

Tonight he goes to head the ball and it hits his arm (commentator gets a hard on looking for a penalty). In the second half from a dangerous cross he went to head it and it came off his back.

I don’t know is it his timing or just a run of bad look but he looks all over the place under the high ball, which in this league is a major concern.

Agree , we sold the wrong keeper , he was so dominant in his box , yes it was behind closed doors but he us a unit and dominant in his area, we got out of jail tonight.
