other matches this weekend

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Always perplexed that you’re allowed to pole axe someone with impunity as long as the whistle has been blown for an offside or some sort of foul first.

That challenge by the league’s biggest banter keeper on Van Dijk was appalling.
Still, it was on a bindipper so I'm not too worried and it also goes some way to making up for that elbow one of them got away with on Tierney the other week. Fuck em.

Agreed. I won’t lose any sleep over it but you see it happening in loads of games usually followed by the idiotic commentator saying the player was lucky the whistle had already been blown or otherwise he’d be in big trouble as if you can go around maiming people when the play has stopped.

Also Peter Walton on BT? What a fucking dullard, offers absolutely nothing to the analysis. Fucking moron.

Gives them something to complain about which they just love more than anything. That and spreading Covid-19.

That was an absolute shocker of a tackle by Richarlson to be fair.

Demands for a public inquiry and a witch-hunt against the VAR officials happening any moment.

Can't see anything wrong with that. Gerrard did that every week and got away with it every time. Good old fashioned English style tackle as far as the press are concerned when it's one of their luvvies doing it or when it's on an Arsenal player.
